Loretta Jackson and Vickie Britton are a sister co-authoring team whose over thirty published novels include mysteries and romantic suspense. Two of their mystery-romance novels Path of the Jaguar and Nightmare in Morocco have gone into second printings. They enjoy writing short stories and have two new titles from Whiskey Creek Press, a mainstream anthology NO LONGER DRIFTING, and a collection of suspense stories THE BLOODY KNIFE.
"Most of what we write falls into the mystery-suspense category. Even when we don't write suspense, there is a high sense of drama in our works. A common theme in all of our work is change and how people cope with it."
The sisters have over thirty published works. Their credits include The Ardis Cole Mystery Series, an 8-book audio series, whose heroine is an archaeologist who travels to exotic locations to solve crimes which take place in the present, but whose solution is often rooted in the past. The authors have personally visited Russia, China and other countries to authenticate their settings.
Two of their hardback novels, Path of the Jaguar and Nightmare in Morocco were recently released as Thorndike large print editions. Path of the Jaguar was a 2003 Bloody Dagger Award nominee. A previous short story mystery anthology Danger-Crossed Moments was winner of the Treble Heart Books best anthology award for 2003.
